but much like people in california democrats in california will go to nevada. that's what the people here in illinois and chicago in particular were doing for president obama. they were traveling to swing states. they were driving to wisconsin. and that's how a lot of people got into this room tonight. by agreeing to go to these swing states to help with the ground game there. so these are the people who had the ticket, they earned a ticket into this room. and look here, their reaction now once the word came in. >> fired up, ready to go. >> and i said, this is great. >> he's a great president and i'm very happy. he has my back and i'm sorry for mitt romney but it's obama. we can't lose. >> what do i want for obama. i want the country to be the great country that it is. >> a few weeks ago i was up in wisconsin, we got wisconsin. last few weeks i've been calling wisconsin and ohio, we got both states. >> obama is winning, he's winning, he's winning. gosh thank you jesus. >> just as you're returning to us live here to chicago. it sound like that video is about to wrap up. this crowd is

rain possible with us. some snow up in the sierra nevada. it doesn't look like much of an event for precipitation. yesterday 80s and 90s for many. san jose was 80. oakland 80. redwood city 80. sfo add 78 degrees -- at 78 degrees. just a few more record highs. temperatures were 10-15 above normal. now we are getting a earl breeze. temperatures drop today. they will continue to drop into friday and level out. not much of a system up here but that is definitely picked up the fog. that is a big change. 40s to 50s. the temperatures spread was about 15-16 degrees yesterday. i mean san francisco is sitting in the low 60s. now they're at 54-degrees with that fog and westerly breeze. again not a lot of rain with this. the cold air is upstream. this is your cloud, rain forecast. see how the system will increase. shower activity going through. that will take us into friday. a better opportunity i think on friday. again it's the cold more than the rain with this system. but it will linger into saturday morning. low clouds, fog, sun, cooler. westerly wind in place instead of an east or northeast
